We’re currently seeking an experienced Team Leader to join an innovative new project focused on cutting-edge medical device technology within the German defence sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing software team working on mission-critical applications in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The Role

As Team Lead, you’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to drive software development excellence across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing business and technical requirements and translating them into scalable software solutions

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting development teams in an agile environment

• Conducting architecture and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards

• Identifying vulnerabilities and proposing technical improvements and optimisations

• Collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders

• Supporting employee development, setting objectives, and driving team performance

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with C++ development

• Previous experience leading software development teams

• Solid understanding of software architecture and best practices

• Experience working in complex, high-reliability environments

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
