As a Senior XR Designer at realworld one, you will play a key role in building a new category around one of the largest unmet opportunities in industrial enterprises: execution performance.

Reporting to the Director of Design and working closely with clients and cross-functional teams across Client Strategy & Value Creation, Solution Delivery, and Engineering, you will independently shape XR training experiences from discovery and concept framing through production support, translating complex operational workflows into intuitive immersive experiences that deliver measurable value for leading Life Sciences organizations.
This role is designed for an ambitious designer who combines exceptional user-centered design skills, instructional design expertise, systems thinking, and creative excellence to shape the future of execution performance.
Responsibilities
Own the design of engaging end-to-end user experiences for XR-based training experiences, from concept to implementation.
Lead and facilitate discovery workshops with clients and subject matter experts to define and document learning objectives.
Apply instructional design principles to turn learning objectives into effective, immersive XR experiences.
Translate complex technical and operational workflows into clear, intuitive spatial interactions.
Collaborate with teams across Client Strategy, Solution Delivery, and Engineering to ensure solutions are user-centered and deliver real value.
Create sketches, user flows, high-fidelity wireframes, and prototypes to communicate and validate design intent.
Conduct usability testing and apply findings to improve user satisfaction and overall efficiency.
Contribute to our design system, XR best practices, and spatial interaction patterns.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in UX or interaction design, including at least 2 years in XR or spatial computing.
Solid understanding of instructional design principles and their application in immersive experiences.
Proven ability to lead design projects and mentor junior designers.
Portfolio showcasing immersive or 3D experience design, ideally focused on training, learning, or simulation for head-mounted displays such as Meta Quest or HoloLens.
Familiarity with game engines (UE5 preferred) and a basic understanding of real-time development workflows.
Proficiency in Figma and comfort working with 3D tools (e.g., Blender, 3ds Max, Maya).
Strong grasp of user-centered design, usability, accessibility, and 3D interaction principles.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and with external stakeholders.
