For almost 30 years, the University of Applied Sciences (FHDW) has been a state-recognised and economically independent educational partner. The roots of the FHDW lie in teaching and practical exchange with companies. But our research is steadily growing stronger, and our projects provide important impulses for the degree programmes and our corporate partners. The FHDW consistently aligns its research activities with the needs of practice and receives impetus from its close involvement with the business community. The scientific topics range from production and process optimisation to the working world of tomorrow, environmental protection, facility management and also disaster control.
