Your Mission

We are looking for a VP Sales & Marketing (m/w/d) to lead and execute MakerVerse's next phase of growth.

This is not a traditional scaling role. We are looking for a hands-on commercial leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. You know how to balance short-term revenue generation with long-term capability building - driving immediate deal conversion while simultaneously creating a scalable, high-performing go-to-market engine.

You will be responsible for accelerating the business beyond €1 million in monthly order intake in the near term, while improving the structure, predictability, and overall performance of our sales and marketing organization. You will lead, develop, and scale both our Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring strong execution, alignment, and sustainable growth.

This role is ideal for a true player-coach - someone who leads from the front, actively engages in strategic customer opportunities, and builds high-performing teams through direct involvement, coaching, and by setting the standard through personal example.

Your Impact

  • Drive Revenue Growth and Strategic Deal Execution: Own and deliver ambitious order intake targets, personally leading the closure of complex industrial opportunities (€100k+) while ensuring rigorous pipeline management, strong conversion rates, and consistent commercial execution to achieve near-term growth objectives.
  • Lead, Develop, and Inspire a High-Performing Sales Team: Act as a player-coach by providing hands-on leadership in customer engagements, deal reviews, and negotiations, while driving accountability, performance excellence, and a culture of ownership, resilience, and results throughout the commercial organization.
  • Build Customer Relationships and Commercial Excellence: Develop and strengthen relationships with key and high-potential customers, manage commercial escalations end-to-end, and confidently navigate operational, delivery, and contractual challenges while making sound decisions on pricing, discounts, and deal structures.
  • Scale the Revenue Engine and Go-to-Market Organization: Expand the customer base and accelerate growth by aligning Sales and Marketing into a single revenue organization, optimizing the sales funnel, introducing scalable processes and KPIs, and improving forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and conversion performance.
  • Shape Commercial Strategy and Support Business Scaling: Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to define growth priorities, target markets, customer segments, and value propositions, while aligning commercial commitments with operational capabilities and building a scalable organization capable of growing revenue from €5-10M to €15M+ and beyond.

  • Operational Excellence and Execution in Dynamic Environments: You build the processes, systems, forecasting routines, and CRM discipline required for predictable execution while thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments and effectively navigating operational challenges.
  • Strong Leadership Presence and Strategic Commercial Thinking: You bring a clear point of view, make decisions with confidence, challenge assumptions constructively, and align stakeholders across functions while shaping future markets, customer segments, and commercial strategies for the next stage of growth.
