As Quality Manager, you are responsible for building, implementing and continuously improving our Quality Management System in line with EN 9100, laying the foundation for future certification and scalable organizational growth.
Your primary focus lies on consolidating existing processes, identifying gaps and establishing a structured, audit-ready quality framework across the organization.
This is not a purely documentation-focused role — you will take ownership of translating quality requirements into practical, day-to-day processes and ensuring that quality is effectively embedded in how we work.
Operating in a startup environment, this role requires a high degree of flexibility, pragmatism and ownership. You will define structures while also working hands-on to implement them together with engineering, leadership and other key stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own and drive the development of an EN9100-compliant Quality Management System (QMS)
Consolidate, structure and further develop existing processes across the organization
Identify gaps and implement pragmatic, scalable solutions
Define and maintain process documentation, procedures and quality standards
Prepare and lead internal and external audits
Align quality requirements with engineering, operations and certification activities
Enable and train teams to ensure quality processes are understood and applied in practice
Act as the central point of contact for all quality-related topics
WHAT YOU BRING
Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
Several years of experience in quality management within aerospace or a similarly regulated environment
Strong experience with EN9100 / ISO 9001 and building or scaling QMS structures
Solid understanding of aerospace regulatory frameworks
Ideally, hands-on experience in Design Organization (DO) and/or Production Organization (PO) environments
Proven ability to work both strategically and operationally in a growing organization
Strong communication skills and ability to train and enable cross-functional teams
Proactive, structured and solution-oriented mindset
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing startup environment
Fluent English required; German is a plus
