You will build, structure, and lead the QA department, ensuring our high-performance composite components meet the rigorous standards required for aerospace missions. Important Note: This role is focused on Quality Assurance of our hardware (COPVs). We are not currently hiring for Software Quality Assurance positions.
Build and Empower:Take full ownership of the Quality Assurance team. You willbe responsible forstructuring the department, hiring specialists, and fostering a culture of precision and excellence from the ground up.
Ensure Compliance:Oversee thequalification anddocumentation processes to ensure all products meet aerospace-specific regulatory and customer requirements.
Root Cause Excellence:Lead cross-functional troubleshooting and non-conformance management to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing cycles.
Strategic Growth:Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design teams to industrialize QA methods, ensuring scalability as we ramp up production.
YOUR PROFILE
Educational Background:Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading teams, preferably within a high-tech manufacturing or aerospace environment.
QA Expertise: 2+ years of deep knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., AS9100 or ISO 9001) and experience with composite material testing.
Analytical Mindset: A practical, solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges and a "first-time-right" mentality.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse departments and with external stakeholders.
Language Skills: Excellent English (at least C1); German skills are highly appreciated.
